A 16th century captain’s house, in the Kastro part of town. It is hosts the core of the “Folklore Collection of Mykonos”. Here you can find numerous items of local and imported popular production, and you can experience how Mykonian life took place the last 4 centuries.
“Lena’s house” is a mykonian townhouse of the 19th century, and can be found in the centre of Mykonos town, Chora, in the area “Tria Pigadia”. It hosts all the original furnishing of the house as well as an important collection of embroidery. Traditional dresses are also in display here.

An outdoor museum, built around Boni’s windmill (built in the 16th century), including many rural structures (miller’s house, thresher, grape stomping tank, waterwell, pigeon house, pigsty and twin churches).
The public benefit foundation “Folklore Collection of Mykonos” was established in 1958 and included, along with the main building at Kastro, the Agricultural Museum – “Milos tou Boni”, and “Lena’s house”. Founder and visionary, as well as main donor of the collection is Dr. Vasilis D. Kyriazopoulos.
